Let’s face it…like a star of stage or screen or TV, you are instantly recognizable to a small group of people, some you don’t know and others whose names you struggle to remember. People will wait months and sit for hours, just to see you and sometimes – by appointment only. Many may know your work and feel a personal connection to you, yet they know very little about you. They are used to seeing you in character and costume, but when they see you out on the street or in a restaurant– they “can’t believe it’s actually you!!!!”
You’re not just a doctor to your patients, but a celebrity to your public. Better get used to it.
